Mother’s Day in Brisbane

For all you fathers, sons and daughters out there, please tell me you know it’s Mother’s Day this Sunday?!

She’s given birth to you (your mother), or your children (their mother, your wife/partner/girlfriend), so show her she means the world to you and your family by planning a day that she won’t forget.

Wondering what to do?

I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with a company that heavily supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation and their quest for raising funds for breast cancer research, so to help raise more awareness and funds, why not join me by doing the Mother’s Day Classic this year. You can do the walk or run, and it doesn’t take up too much of your time, plus it helps past, current and future breast cancer sufferers. It also gets you out of the house and exercising a little bit, which will help burn off the great breakfast, brunch or lunch you’ll take your beloved out for afterwards!

All ages are welcome, so bring the kids! There are some great things to see and do at the start/finish line too, so you don’t have to rush home. You can stroll down to Southbank for a feed, go to the nearby museum or art gallery or simply relax on the riverfront for a coffee and cake.

Not only will you be supporting a worthy cause, it’ll be something that the women of your life will appreciate. It could become an annual tradition! So pick up a few points by registering your family in the Mother’s Day Classic this weekend. I thank you for your support as do mothers around the country!

This is a photo of me, my family, and our supporting Professionals team members who got involved in the run in 2008. Sorry, I didn't have a photo from last year!
