Thousands of Queenslanders have already had their fair share of cleaning recently, but we’re all being urged to get our hands dirty again for the annual “Clean Up Australia Day”.

This year’s Clean Up Australia Day will be one of the biggest yet, with volunteers needed to continue with the clean up of Brisbane’s flood affected areas.

The Brisbane City Council is organising priority flood clean up sites where we can all volunteer to help, otherwise there will also be the regular Clean Up Australia Day events taking place throughout the country.

If you would like to volunteer to help clean up flood affected areas in Brisbane than you can register at www.khemistry.com.au/bcc/volunteerregistration.php and the Brisbane City Council will get in contact with you and confirm details. If you would like to volunteer for regular Clean Up Australia Day activities than you can do so at the Clean Up Australia Day website.

Flood affected areas in Queensland still require everyone’s help and support to get everything back on track again, so if you have the time to volunteer on March 6th then consider lending a helping hand.
