Time is running out for those wanting to apply for the Queensland Government’s Building Boost Grant.

The grant offers $10,000 for a person or corporation who is buying or building a new home in Queensland for less than $600,000.

Everton Park’s homebuyers have until April 30 if they want to take advantage of the grant, which is quite a significant contribution, especially for first-home buyers who can apply for the First Home Owner Grant of $7,000 on top of the Building Boost.

For those who are looking to take advantage of the Building Boost grant before it’s too late, you will need to make sure that a housing contract is signed before the cut-off date. Those who sign up to receive the Building Boost then have 12 months to build their new home.

More information about the Queensland Government’s Building Boost Scheme can be found at boost.treasury.qld.gov.au.
