Will you run for a cause this Mother’s Day?

Mothers Day ClassicThis year, why not give yourself a feel-good start to Mother’s Day?   All capital cities will be hosting a Mother’s Day Classic fundraising fun run, and we encourage all Everton Park residents to get involved.

The proceeds from the Mother’s Day Classic are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a not for profit organisation that promotes and supports research into breast cancer prevention and treatment.  The Professionals Real Estate Groups are diamond partnership supporters of the cause, and we’d love to see our Everton Park community getting behind this great event and helping to raise loads of money for breast cancer research, prevention and treatment.

Since 1998 the Mother’s Day Classic has raised $14.8 million dollars for the cause.  From its modest beginnings in 1998, it has grown into one of Australia’s largest national charity events and has become an integral part of Mother’s Day for thousands of Australians.

The Brisbane event involves a 4.5km and 8km walk and run, starting and finishing at the Cultural Forecourt, the Parklands South Bank.  If running and walking isn’t your thing you can still join in the fun of the day by volunteering to help out. Please click here to register your interest in helping out on the morning of the event.  If you’d like to make a donation to the Mother’s Day Classic, you can simply head over to their website and fill out your details online here.

For more information about the Brisbane event, please visit http://www.mothersdayclassic.com.au/event/qld/brisbane.  Our team at Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate would love to encourage all Everton Park residents to get involved either as participants, volunteers, or simply by making a donation.  Every little bit helps!

How will you be spending this Mother’s Day?
