It’s great to see that the Brisbane City Council is trying to invest in our health and just last week they have started installing new defibrillators to help save anyone who may suffer from a cardiac arrest in public.
For those who are sceptical of the council spending $72,000 on the new devices it is estimated that over 200,000 people a year die from cardiac attacks and in other states 14 people have been saved from having defibrillators available. In my opinion if just one life is saved they would be well worth it.
The defibrillators should all be installed by April 30th and will be located at:
