My last blog post shared a little about why I love Everton Park, so in keeping my word about providing more of a profile on Everton Park, let’s get to it!
Everton Park covers approximately a 7sq km area, and houses approximately 8,000 residents of the approximate 39,000 people that live in the 4053 post code area. You’ll find a good mix of age groups, families, share-houses, single people and single parents living in Everton Park, which make up this fantastic community.
Median house and unit prices in the last 10 years have steadily increased in Everton Park. They took a slight dip in 2009, but have improved again in 2010 so far which is good news for homeowners and sellers in the area. I predict that with the improving economy, prices will continue to increase even if only slightly, so buyers wanting to move into or invest in the area should start to think about their opportunities now.
Being only 8km from Brisbane City, Everton Park offers a range of facilities for families including schools, childcare and parks to name a few. I highly recommend Everton Park as a place to live and raise a family, so do your research now, and make sure you include Everton Park in your suburb search when looking for your next home in Brisbane. You won’t be disappointed.
