Could we live in a home if we had less energy available? This could be a possible scenario in the future, and so a family in Sydney are testing out a “green energy” home to see if we truly can live using less energy.
The family of three including Clare Joyce, Michael Adams and their daughter Ava, are going to live in a house in Newington that has been decked out with every energy saving device you could ever imagine.
The home includes solar technology gadgets, as well as other devices designed to save on either water or electricity.
It will be interesting to see the outcomes of the year long experiment. Currently the Federal Government are looking at ways Australians can become energy efficient for the future, so by testing out the green technology products it will help us all to get an idea of what works and what doesn’t.
