Local libraries often have a range of activities on, that sometimes locals don’t always know about unless someone tells them. Today’s blog has some of the upcoming events and classes that are happening at the Everton Park Library during April.
Got young kids? The Everton Park Library runs story time for young babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, every Thursday between 1:00pmand 1:30pm. It’s free and offers an opportunity to meet other parents, allow your children to socialise and provide access to some great bedtime story books that you can borrow and return on an ongoing basis. For the 2 to 4 year olds, there’s a children’s story time held on Wednesday’s from 10:30am. Check for other dates and events by clicking on this link.
For the older generations, there are introductory internet courses for seniors held on Thursdays between 11:00am and 12:00pm, and other courses such as digital photography that is coming up on the 21st of April.
Even if these things aren’t necessarily for you personally, you may want to pass this information onto friends with young children, parents or grandparents. The Everton Park Library offers some great services and we love to see it being supported by the community.
