Everton Park residents are gearing up for this year’s Brisbane Festival, which gets underway on September 3 with a Riverfire show at South Bank.
Now more than ever, Brisbane residents need a reason to celebrate how lucky we are to live in such a great part of the world. Sure we all saw devastating destruction that came from the Brisbane River during the January floods, but Brisbane has pulled together and picked up the pieces since then and now it is time to reclaim the river and celebrate all of the things that make us proud to live in Brisbane.
Apart from the Riverfire show there will be heaps on to see and do during the Brisbane Festival. You can expect to see great visual displays, dance, theatre, comedy, and all sorts of other entertainment taking place in the city centre and on suburban streets, parks and backyards. There is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy, with free and ticketed events available.
The Brisbane Festival is sure to be great fun and we’re sure that there will be plenty of Everton Park residents looking forward to the Brisbane celebrations.
The festival runs from September 3 – 24. For those Everton Park residents who want to find out more about the Brisbane Festival and what is on, head to www.brisbanefestival.com.au.
