Funding for the next stage of design work for the Everton Park Link Road project has just been approved by the Queensland State Government.
As we have mentioned in our blog before, the project is being undertaken to help ease congestion in Everton Park, particularly around the intersection at Stafford and South Pine Roads where there is often traffic delays.
The new Everton Park Link Road will see the connection between South Pine Road near Kedron Brook and Stafford Road near Mountridge Street.
The project is part of the Stafford Road and South Pine Road Intersection Planning Study and while the project is still in the design phase, community feedback is still being sought to make sure that the final project provides maximum benefits to everyone concerned.
A refined plan for the overall project should be released mid year and if you would like to stay up to date with the project you can visit the Transport and Main Roads website.
