If you want to learn how to plan your next holiday online, get the best online search results or take better photos then the Everton Park Library has something for you this month.
The Everton Park Library holds a variety of workshops and activities throughout the year, and this month they will be holding an Introduction to the Internet session, a Digital Photography workshop and a session on how to travel on the internet, as well as the library’s regular storytime and book club events.
The Introduction to the Internet session is taking place on Tuesday August 14 from 1pm and it will help teach participants how to use search engines to get the best search results. This session would be ideal for anyone who has trouble finding what they’re looking for on the internet.
The Digital Photography workshop will take place on Thursday August 16 from 6pm and it will feature presenter Norm Whyte who will answer questions and help show participants how to make the most of their cameras.
Travellers will be interested in attending the Travel on the internet session, as it will go through how to plan a holiday without the need for a travel agent. The session will be held on Tuesday August 28 at 10m and it will go through things like comparing prices, and booking and finding flights and accommodation.
Even if you aren’t interested in heading along to this month’s events at the Everton Park Library, it’s worth heading to their website to see whether there are any other upcoming events that may interest you.
