It’s that time of the year again when all magazines, newspapers, blogs and morning shows compile their ‘best and worst of’ lists. We’ve now heard the top box office movie of 2012 was Avengers, the best TV show in 2012 was Homeland, and the best sporting TV moment in 2012 was the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. The London Olympics was also the top Yahoo search topic for 2012, Jay Z and Beyonce together took out the hottest celebrity couple of 2012, and People have voted Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield the best dressed couple of 2012.
As Christmas fast approaches us, all these ‘best of’ lists got our Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate offices wondering… what’s the best ever Christmas movie?
Some typically popular choices are:
- National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
- A Christmas Carol
- Arthur Christmas
- Christmas With The Kranks
- Four Christmases
- Home Alone
- Ernest Saves Christmas
- White Christmas (a.k.a. Holiday Inn)
- Scrooged
- Elf
- The Santa Claus
- The Polar Express
- Muppets Christmas Carol
- Love Actually
- Miracle On 34th Street
- The Grinch
Having looked through the many and varied Christmas movies on the list, our Professionals Real Estate team in Everton Park has struggled to find a unanimous favourite.
Katie likes the fun of Tim Allen being recruited as the new Santa on Christmas Eve in ‘The Santa Claus’, Deb’s vote goes to the magical train ride of ‘The Polar Express’, and Peter can’t go past ‘Home Alone’, in which an 8 year old (Macaulay Culkin) is left to defend his home against a couple of bumbling burglars.
With so many wonderful Christmas flicks to watch we’re sure all Everton Park families will love finding their own favourites.
