As many of our clients, customers, friends and Facebook followers may already be aware, Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate are long-time and passionate supporters of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. As well as our involvement in National Breast Cancer Foundation events such as the Pink Ribbon Breakfast, Global Illumination and the Mother’s Day Classic, the Professionals donate funds from every property sold to help support breast cancer research. As a group, we have currently raised over $2,000,000 for the NBCF.
Our Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate office takes our community responsibilities extremely seriously, and are incredibly proud of our involvement with the NBCF. Significantly, an independent evaluation was recently completed by the Health Economics Research Group at London’s Brunel University to assess the exact impact of money raised by the NBCF. The findings were very impressive, to say the least.
The report found that NBCF-funded research has had significant impact in key areas such as policy and decision making, development of new drugs and diagnostics, changes in clinical practice and gains in health and quality of life for women with breast cancer – with further impacts expected in future years.
In addition to unveiling the HERG report findings, NBCF also launched its new campaign, Act Pink for Research, encouraging everyone to take action to meet the Foundation’s vision of eradicating deaths from breast cancer by 2030. If you’d like to get involved in this fantastic cause please visit http://www.nbcf.org.au/Stories/Support-Us/Pledge.aspx for ideas and inspiration… You may like to donate a gift, host an event or simply volunteer a little of your time. Whatever you’re able to do, and however you’d like to help, you can be sure it will be appreciated – and it will most certainly have an impact on people’s lives.
Our team at Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate continue to donate money from every property sold to this wonderful cause, in the hope that we can help the NBCF reach their goal by 2030. We encourage everybody who owns or rents Everton Park real estate, as well as all of our friends and visitors to please visit the Act Pink for Research page and do what you can to help us support this very worthy cause.
