A lot of Everton Park residents have been eager to hear news about the Woolworths development on Stafford Road.
The latest update, as reported in the North-West News, is that the residential development site plans have been revised to include 100 units in total, a reduction from the original 165 that were planned. The 3 sites will also be developed by specialist residential developers and not by Woolworths.
The designs for the sites are still under development though and Woolworths is currently working with the Brisbane City Council and the Department of Transport and Main Roads to hopefully have designs finished and approved by the end of the year.
Along with the new residential units, the development is set to include a new Woolworths supermarket, a Masters Home Improvement Store, speciality stores and car park space.
