The start of a New Year is always an exciting and highly anticipated time. We optimists view it as an opportunity to forget the troubles of the past year; learn from our mistakes (what mistakes?) and move forward at a brisk and confident pace.
Forget the Global Financial Crisis, The War on Terrorism, Global Warming or the Water Supply Shortage of 2009. At the start of 2010 we can choose to view our coming year through rose coloured glasses and re-learn the ability to appreciate the small things in life and the people that add great spiritual value to us as human beings.
The other stuff, the big scary worldwide stuff, we can’t control it but it will happen. One thing we can do is ensure our quality of life is at an optimum, creating a buffer to help us keep it all in perspective and decrease its impact on all aspects of our life.
So I arrive in 2010 – partied out, overspent, slightly chubbier, incredibly tired and most importantly super excited! The unknown is upon us and we have the opportunity to form our future as we desire – what a fantastic journey it will be.
I look forward to sharing my journey with you through these blogs in 2010 and sincerely invite you to leave me a comment or send any information you would like to share or would like me to feature to my email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
