In Queensland we have a lot to celebrate (and I’m not just talking about our win against the Blues last Wednesday) but we are also blessed with sun, lifestyle and great people which is why this week there will be lots of people getting together to celebrate Queensland Week!
Queensland Week commemorates when we officially separated from New South Wales to become our own state, and all this week there are plenty of chances to get out there with our fellow Queenslanders and be reminded of just how lucky we are to live here.
If you want to check out some of the quintessentially Queensland activities that will be happening around Brisbane you can check out ourbrisbane.com
for some great events or if you want to learn more about Queensland Week and Queensland Day on June 6th
then you should check out www.premiers.qld.gov.au/events/queensland-week.aspx
But what does it mean to you to be a Queenslander; will you be doing anything this week to show your state pride?
