In my last blog I talked about getting started on renovation projects as part of your New Year resolutions, but what other resolutions do homeowners have?
According to a survey carried out by realestate.com.au
the majority or homeowners (57 per cent) want to put away extra money towards their mortgage, to help them get ahead and pay their home loan off quicker.
This is a smart idea if you can do it, as it will help lower your interest rate payments sooner and you will end up saving money in the long run.
Another popular property resolution for the New Year is to upgrade to a bigger or better home for the New Year. The realestate.com.au
survey indicated that 36 per cent of homeowners want to upgrade their home in the New Year to a home that offers more living space.
Buying a bigger home can be a challenge though, and its hard to find a home that meets all of your requirements, but if you’re looking for a new home in the New Year or any property advice then don’t hesitate to drop into the Professionals Keith Brady Real Estate
office for a chat.
