The Lord Mayor's 2012 Australia Day Awards have just opened up for nominations, and so Everton Park residents should start thinking about who in the community deserves to be the next Australian Citizen of the Year.
 
If you think you might know somebody who is an outstanding resident and has made a valuable contribution to the local community then you can nominate them in one of the following categories:
 
  • Citizen of the Year
  • Senior Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Community Event of the Year
  • Australia Day Cultural/Arts Award
  • Australia Day Sports Award
  • Australia Day Achievement Awards
  • Lord Mayor's Green Heart Award
  • Lord Mayor's Green Heart Event
  • Lord Mayor's Green Heart Youth Award
There are so many outstanding people in the Everton Park community and the Lord Mayor’s Australia Day Awards are an opportunity for residents to recognize and thank those who have accomplished amazing feats or helped inspire others to achieve their goals.
 
We’re sure that everybody in Everton Park knows somebody who has done amazing things for the local community, so make sure that you nominate them for the Lord Mayor’s Australia Day Awards.
