Amnesty on Overdue Fees at the Everton Park Library

Brian Brady Latest News | What's Happening in Everton Park 9th December, 2011 No Comments
If you have any outstanding fines at the Everton Park library then you can wipe your slate clean during December, as long as you do a good deed in return.

Until the end of the month, all Brisbane City Council libraries will be offering a library fine amnesty on overdue books as long as a canned donation to Foodbank Queensland is made in return.

A can of food is a small price to pay to waive any library fees and you will have the bonus of knowing that you have helped out a very good cause as well.

To make your donation and waive your library fines (which don’t include fees associated with lost or damaged items) then all you have to do is visit your local library with your can of food and talk to a library staff member.

For anyone in Everton Park who’s interested in finding out more about the library amnesty, or about our local library in general, you can head to the Brisbane City Council website for further information.
