Hopefully everyone in Everton Park has remembered that this Sunday is Father’s Day, a day where we all get the chance to celebrate all of the fathers and father figures in our lives.
So what have you got planned for your dad this Father’s Day?
Some people may think that days like Father’s Day are just another commercialised event, or another day that we need to go out and buy gifts – but that’s not what Father’s Day should be about.
You don’t need to buy your dad a present (though it probably wouldn’t hurt), but instead make sure that you do something special for your dad that shows how much you care about them and all of the amazing things that they have done for you. You could you take your dad out for a game of footy, spend the day helping him on his cars (if that’s what he’s in to) or just pop over to say hello.
